Job summary

Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking an experienced mobile cleaner to join our team. You will help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming council buildings, offices and community spaces across the Borough.

The role involves traveling between locations, driving a Council vehicle, and working varied shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends. Applicants must have a full driving licence and good health and safety knowledge relevant to cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Previous cleaning experience in high traffic public areas preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication skills and flexibility for different sites and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean council buildings, offices and community spaces to keep them safe, clean and welcoming.
• Travel around the Borough and work at various locations as required.
• Drive a Council vehicle between locations while on duty; may include early mornings, evenings and weekend shifts.
• Adhere to health and safety practices and cleaning chemicals guidelines.
