Job summary

Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council is recruiting a mobile cleaner to keep council buildings, offices and community spaces clean, safe and welcoming. You will travel around the Borough and work at various locations, driving a Council vehicle between sites as required.

The role includes early morning, evening and weekend shifts. Applicants should have a full driving licence and cleaning experience in high-traffic public areas, with good time management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Full driving license held.
• Experience cleaning high-traffic public areas.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and flexibility across sites.
• Knowledge of health and safety related to cleaning and safe chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Keep council buildings, offices and community spaces clean, safe and welcoming.
• Travel around the Borough to various locations.
• Drive a Council vehicle between sites while on duty; may include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
