TECREC (ENGINEERING RECRUITMENT SPECIALISTS) LTD is recruiting a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to cover a portfolio of commercial sites across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

The role involves planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring building services remain safe, compliant and operational. You will work independently, manage your own workload and liaise professionally with clients and site teams. Commercial Gas qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Commercial Gas qualifications/tickets.
• Strong building services experience.
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
• Good understanding of health & safety and compliance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to cover Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across commercial sites.
• Diagnose and repair commercial gas and heating systems.
• Complete servicing, inspections and safety checks in line with regulations.
• Respond to breakdowns and attend emergency callouts when required.
• Maintain and repair wider building services and plant.
• Complete all job sheets, reports and compliance records accurately.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and site teams.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with H&S procedures.

Job Summary

A major FM provider is looking for an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team, covering a portfolio of commercial sites across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a varied commercial portfolio, with a strong focus on keeping building services safe, compliant and operational.

The ideal candidate will have a strong building services background, with solid experience working within commercial environments and the relevant Commercial Gas qualifications/tickets. You will also be confident working independently, managing your own workload and dealing professionally with clients and site teams.

Key Responsibilities
