Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer for opportunities in Basingstoke. The role covers a variety of commercial properties within the Berkshire/Hampshire corridor, offering a stable Facilities Management team, a 40-hour week and a weekday schedule.

You will perform PPM, install, test and repair gas systems, diagnose faults and source parts, while delivering high-quality workmanship and strong customer care.

Qualifications

• Valid ACS Commercial Gas qualifications including COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1 and TPCP1A.
• Proven experience in commercial gas servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undergo the required disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), installations, gas testing and reactive repairs across commercial gas-fired appliances and heating systems.
• Diagnose faults, identify failures and complete repairs, including sourcing and fitting replacement parts.
• Provide responsive maintenance support across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.
• Self-deliver smaller installation projects where required.
• Build positive relationships with clients through professional communication and customer service.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary up to £49,000, depending on experience.
• 40 hour week
• Working hours: 8:00 am – 17:00 pm.

• Diagnose faults, identify failures and complete repairs, including sourcing and fitting replacement parts.
• Provide responsive maintenance support across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.
• Self-deliver smaller installation projects where required.
• Build positive relationships with clients through professional communication and excellent customer service.
• Ensure all work meets relevant health and safety requirements and industry standards.
