Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to cover Basingstoke and surrounding areas. You will work on commercial gas-fired heating systems across a varied portfolio of properties, maintaining a consistent weekday schedule with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid ACS Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1 and TPCP1A).
• Proven experience in commercial gas servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to undergo disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM, installations, gas testing and reactive repairs on commercial gas appliances and heating systems.
• Diagnose faults, source and fit replacement parts.
• Provide responsive maintenance across diverse commercial properties.
• Self-deliver smaller installation projects when required.
• Build relationships with clients through professional communication and service.
• Ensure all work meets health and safety requirements and industry standards.

Commercial Gas Engineer - Basingstoke - M4 Corrider - Up to £49k + Bonuses

Join an established facilities management team in the Berkshire / Hampshire area, where you’ll work across a varied portfolio of commercial properties, enjoy a consistent weekday schedule and have the opportunity to earn additional income through overtime and Bonuses.

We’re looking for a skilled engineer with strong commercial gas experience who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, reliable service and excellent customer care.

Salary & Benefits will include:

• Salary up to £49,000, depending on experience.
• 25 + 8 days days’ annual holiday
• 40 hour week
• Working hours: 8:00 am – 17:00 pm.
• Overtime available and additional bonuses
• A stable role within a facilities management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), installations, gas testing and reactive repairs across a range of commercial gas-fired appliances and heating systems, including boilers, burners and hot water systems.
• Diagnose faults, identify failures and complete repairs, including sourcing and fitting replacement parts.
• Provide responsive maintenance support across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.
• Self-deliver smaller installation projects where required.
• Build positive relationships with clients through professional communication and excellent customer service.
• Ensure all work meets relevant health and safety requirements and industry standards.

Person Specification:

• Valid ACS Commercial Gas qualifications, including COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1 and TPCP1A.
• Proven experience in commercial gas servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.
• Strong technical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills.
• A customer-focused approach with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undergo the required disclosure.
