Job summary

Acorn Limited in Croydon is seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Boiler Engineer to join their management team. In this mobile role, you will be responsible for high-quality servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial boiler and combustion systems across South & SE London.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of commercial systems and proven Gas Safe compliance experience. The position offers competitive salary, 25 days annual leave, and ongoing training opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced commercial boiler engineer who is organized, safety-conscious, and customer-focused.
• Ability to deliver high standards of workmanship and compliance.
• Capable of working autonomously across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out commercial boiler and combustion servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with regulations.
• Diagnose faults, perform testing, and recommend remedial actions.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
• Complete accurate job reports and certification.
• Communicate professionally with clients and suppliers.
• Participate in out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
• Maintain tools and certification to required standards.

Skills

Strong working knowledge of commercial boiler and combustion systems

Proven experience working within Gas Safe compliance

Good all-round understanding of HVAC and building services environments

Sound knowledge of Health & Safety in a mobile engineering role

Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Education
