Job summary
Acorn Engineering Limited seeks an experienced Mobile Commercial Boiler Engineer to join our management team, delivering servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial boiler and combustion systems across London and the South East. This mobile role suits a proactive engineer who can work independently, manage workload, and represent the business professionally at client sites.
You will ensure Gas Safe compliance, uphold safety standards, and contribute to ongoing training and development
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with commercial boiler systems and maintenance.
- Proven Gas Safe compliance experience.
- Strong understanding of HVAC and building services environments.
- Commitment to health and safety in mobile engineering
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair commercial boilers across client sites
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive work per Gas Safe regs
- Diagnose faults and perform performance testing
- Ensure health and safety compliance and safe working practices
- Prepare reports and certification documentation
- Coordinate with contracts managers and helpdesk
- Interact professionally with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota
- Maintain tools and certification to required standards
