Job summary

Evolve Talent Search Ltd is recruiting an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead cleaning operations across a portfolio of around 40 banking and government sites.

You will oversee a team of 30–40 operatives, ensuring SLAs, KPIs and high cleaning standards while maintaining strong client relationships and adherence to health and safety across locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' supervisory experience within cleaning, soft services or facilities management.
• Experience managing or supporting frontline cleaning teams.
• Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills.

We are recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join a leading facilities management provider, overseeing cleaning operations across a portfolio of approximately 40 banking and government sites.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor or experienced Cleaning Team Leader to take responsibility for a team of around 30–40 cleaning operatives, ensuring high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising, supporting and motivating cleaning operatives across multiple sites.
• Conducting site visits, cleaning inspections and quality audits.
• Ensuring contractual SLAs, KPIs and cleaning standards are achieved.
• Managing staffing levels, attendance, absence and arranging cover.
• Providing hands‑on cleaning support, including deep cleans and emergency cleaning when required.
• Monitoring stock, consumables and equipment.
• Building strong relationships with clients and internal management teams.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures and security requirements are followed.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months' supervisory experience within cleaning, soft services or facilities management.
• Experience managing or supporting frontline cleaning teams.
• Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to manage multiple sites.
• Full UK driving licence.

Previous experience within banking, government or other security-sensitive environments would be advantageous.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
• Flexible working pattern between 07:00 and 22:00, with autonomy over your schedule.
• Some early starts and late finishes may be required.
• Additional hours managed through time off in lieu (no paid overtime).

Security:

BPSS and DBS clearance required, with additional background checks including CCJ screening. Vetting can take approximately 2–3 weeks
