Job summary

Evolve Talent Search Ltd is seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across a portfolio of around 40 banking and government sites. You will lead a team of 30–40 operatives, ensuring high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction across multiple locations.

Responsibilities include site visits, inspections, audits, staffing management, health and safety, and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' supervisory experience in cleaning, soft services or facilities management.
• Experience managing or supporting frontline cleaning teams.
• Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with ability to manage multiple sites.
• Full UK driving licence.

We are recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join a leading facilities management provider, overseeing cleaning operations across a portfolio of approximately 40 banking and government sites.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor or experienced Cleaning Team Leader to take responsibility for a team of around 30–40 cleaning operatives, ensuring high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising, supporting and motivating cleaning operatives across multiple sites.
• Conducting site visits, cleaning inspections and quality audits.
• Ensuring contractual SLAs, KPIs and cleaning standards are achieved.
• Managing staffing levels, attendance, absence and arranging cover.
• Providing hands‑on cleaning support, including deep cleans and emergency cleaning when required.
• Monitoring stock, consumables and equipment.
• Building strong relationships with clients and internal management teams.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures and security requirements are followed.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months' supervisory experience within cleaning, soft services or facilities management.

Previous experience within banking, government or other security-sensitive environments would be advantageous.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
• Flexible working pattern between 07:00 and 22:00, with autonomy over your schedule.
• Some early starts and late finishes may be required.
• Additional hours managed through time off in lieu (no paid overtime).
