Job summary

A reputable cleaning service provider is seeking a Mobile Cleaner to serve clients in Southampton and surrounding areas. This full-time permanent position involves a 37.5-hour work week. Responsibilities include cleaning various surfaces, responding to urgent requests, and managing waste disposal. Candidates should have previous cleaning experience and be IT literate. A full manual UK driving licence is required, as a company vehicle will be provided. Competitive hourly rate of £12.50 offered.

Responsibilities

Mobile Cleaner

We are seeking a Mobile Cleaner to attend a number sites for one of our Social Housing partners, in Southampton - and surrounding areas.

This is a full time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

The hourly rate is £12.50

A Full Manual UK Driving Licence is required, but Company Vehicle is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to unexpected situations or urgent needs for clients in the area
• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
• Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
• Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
• Hoovering of carpeted areas
• Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
• Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
• Replenish consumable items . soap, toilet rolls, paper towels
• Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks

What are we looking for?

• Prior professional Cleaning experience
• IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
• Willing to undergo a Standard or Enhanced DBS check (We cover the cost of the DBS check)
