Job description

Minimum 6 weeks full-time assignment
Leading housing business
Favourable day shifts

Hours: 37 hours per week, working any 5 days out of 7 (Monday to Sunday), in line with a rota

Salary: £24,127 per annum (£12.54 hourly equivalent)

An opportunity has arisen within an Estates and Services team in Coventry for a Cleaner to join a mobile cleaning unit. In this role, you will help ensure a high standard of cleanliness, security, and safety in the communal areas of residential housing.

What you’ll need:
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience with tasks such as mopping, sweeping, buffing, polishing, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning of glass and sanitary areas
• Ability to remove litter and small-scale graffiti
• Basic Health and Safety knowledge in a cleaning environment, including safe use of cleaning equipment
• Willingness to use a mobile app to complete daily work reports
• Ability to work to deadlines and in potentially unpleasant conditions
• A full driving licence and the willingness to drive a small company van are essential
• Strong teamworking skills

Full training will be provided, including safe handling of cleaning chemicals, and you’ll have the opportunity to complete a BICS qualification in Cleaning.
