Job Opportunity: Cleaner in Coventry

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Estates and Services team in Coventry. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness, security, and safety in residential communal areas.

Position Details

1. Duration: Minimum 6 weeks full-time assignment
2. Working Hours: 37 hours per week, any 5 days out of 7 (Monday to Sunday), on a rota basis
3. Salary: £24,127 per annum (£12.54 hourly)
4. Benefits: Supportive environment, benefits package, safeguarding and equality commitment, flexible working options
5. Additional Info: Position subject to a Basic DBS check

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, buffing, polishing, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning glass and sanitary areas
• Remove litter and small graffiti
• Ensure safety and hygiene in all cleaning activities
• Use mobile apps for daily work reports
• Work efficiently within deadlines and in potentially unpleasant conditions

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with cleaning tasks and equipment
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards in cleaning
• Willingness to drive a small company van (full driving license required)
• Strong teamworking skills
• Full training provided, including chemical handling and BICS qualification opportunity
