Role Accountabilities:

• Organising collections from clients’ sites and delivering to waste transfer sites for disposal.
• Maintaining packing materials on site.
• Assisting with quotations for customers.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Adhering to health & safety policies on-site and at disposal sites.
• Assessing, segregating, labeling, and packing waste according to legislation.
• Managing hazardous waste documentation and compliance.
• Loading waste onto transport vehicles safely and driving company vehicles when required.

Person Specification:

• A-level in Chemistry/Science or similar qualification.
• Good knowledge of hazardous waste.
• Ability to assess safety/environmental impact of hazardous waste processing.
• Experience with health and safety and environmental legislation.
• Full driving license; experience driving a 3.5t van is an advantage.
• Ability to build rapport with customers.
• Ability to work autonomously and willingness to learn new skills.
