Job Description

Management position responsible for developing and executing catering solutions to meet customer needs. Facilitate the delivery of prepared food created from event-specific work orders or in a room service environment.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Leadership:
  2. Ensure catering operations connect to the Executional Framework.
  3. Deliver consistent quality in planning and execution of events.
  4. Demonstrate established company solutions to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency within consumer-driven offerings.
  5. Lead catering team to ensure quality in final presentation of food.
  6. Train and lead employees to ensure knowledge of food menus and promotional calendars.
  7. Model and reinforce Aramark's mentor process.
  8. Reward and recognize employees.
  9. Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback. Plan and execute team meetings and daily huddles.
  10. Complete and maintain all staff records including training records, schedules, and performance data.
Client Relationship
  1. Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually effective business relationships.
  2. Demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard model.
  3. Implement communication strategy as provided by marketing team to build catering revenue.
  4. Responsible for delivering food and labor targets. Develop and execute strategies to achieve catering revenue forecasts.
  5. Responsible for executing catering events of various sizes and scopes, including staffing and management.
  6. Ensure accurate reporting of all catering-related revenue, expenses, and receivables. Coordinate activities with other departments as appropriate.
Compliance
  1. Ensure compliance with Aramark food, occupational, and environmental safety policies in all culinary and kitchen operations.
  2. Follow all applicable policies, rules, and regulations, including safety, health, wage, and hour policies.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/degree in catering or 2-5 years industry experience, including 2 years at management or department head level, with a background in high-volume hospitality, conference, and banqueting operations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong hotel or restaurant background, as well as industrial catering experience.
  • Excellent people management skills, with experience managing large teams.
  • Passion for food and service, with innovative abilities in this area.
  • High knowledge of Food Hygiene and HACCP standards.
  • Ability to manage in a diverse, high-pressure environment with a focus on client and customer service.
  • Commercially focused with experience managing budgets and achieving targets.
  • Proactive in seeking change, self-motivated, and open to continuous improvement challenges.
