Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Mobile Chef to join our team covering Belfast across various sites. This part-time role offers 8 hours per week with weekend on-call duties on Sat and Sun 07:00-19:00.

You will prepare and cook all food to a high standard, maintain HACCP compliance and support service with great customer care. Join a family-oriented business that values people, provides a pension scheme, and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience and knowledge of busy kitchen operations are required.
• HACCP knowledge and compliance with food safety standards are essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are expected.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Experience in contract catering is desirable.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds 706/1&2 or above is preferred.
• A full clean driving licence is required and access to own transport.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to an exceptional standard, ensuring HACCP compliance.
• Keep service counters prepped and ready for service.
• Deliver high levels of customer service.
• Work with the team to ensure timely service.
• Record food temperatures and update cleaning schedules as required.
• Report any defective equipment to the Line Manager.
• Ensure all food is labelled correctly and manage allergen information.
• Undertake cleaning duties as needed and brief the team on ingredients.
