Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking a Mobile Caretaker to join our team, covering sites across Lancashire & Blackburn Schools Project. A permanent full-time role (37.5 hours) with a salary of £25,954.50 per annum and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role involves day-to-day site operations, maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for staff, students and visitors, and DBS clearance is required. Excellent opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Job description

Equans is looking for a Mobile Caretaker to join the team covering multiple sites across the Lancashire & Blackburn Schools Project. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £25,954.50 per annum and benefits package.
Shift times:

Monday - Friday

Any 8 hour shift between the hours of 05.30 and 22.00pm.

What will you deliver?

In this role, you will support the day-to-day running of the school site, helping to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out general caretaking, cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks
  • Supporting site security, including opening and closing the premises
  • Building positive relationships with school staff and community users
  • Ensuring services are delivered to a consistently high standard
  • Supporting compliance with health and safety requirements

You will also work closely with the Area Supervisor to support service delivery across the site.

For this role you must undergo A DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential

Essential:
