Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd is seeking passionate Care Assistants to join our mobile care team. This role combines personal care, domestic support and social activities for homeowners across our developments.

It is 20 hours per week on a rota including mornings, evenings and alternate weekends, with travel between sites. A valid full UK driving license and access to your own car are essential as you will travel between developments.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is not required; full training is provided.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and time management are essential.
• Must have a valid full UK driving license with access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance to homeowners.
• Domestic: maintain communal areas and assist with household tasks.
• Support social activities, transport arrangements, and appointments for homeowners.
• Travel between McCarthy & Stone developments; access to own car required. Mileage is reimbursed.
