Job summary

McCarthy Stone Ltd is seeking Mobile Care Assistants to support homeowners in Beckenham and surrounding areas. You will travel between developments using your own car, with mileage paid and a £300 probation bonus. Hourly rate £14.50, with up to £1.30 extra for evenings and weekends.

The role blends personal care with domestic tasks, companionship, and wellbeing activities. A valid UK driving licence is essential; part-time hours on a rota basis between 7am and 10pm, including mornings, evenings

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment preferred but not essential.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
• Willingness to travel between developments.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care, including help with daily activities and medication assistance, plus domestic support.
• Maintain communal areas to a high standard and assist with shopping and household tasks.
• Support social activities, transport arrangements and appointments to enhance wellbeing.
