Job summary

Cambridge Maintenance Services Limited seeks a Mobile Building Services Engineer to cover Hertfordshire, undertaking planned and reactive maintenance in assigned sites. You will update compliance docs on a tablet, provide quotes, and liaise with a CAFM system to keep clients informed.

The role requires HVAC knowledge, appropriate qualifications in maintenance/engineering, and a full UK driving licence. A reasonable overtime pattern, a bonus scheme, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• HVAC plant and equipment experience.
• General building services qualifications (emergency light testing, L8 awareness, plumbing repairs).
• Qualification in at least one maintenance/engineering discipline.
• Repair/replacement of plant, fixtures and fittings as required.
• Organise housekeeping tasks and arrangements.
• Good communication and basic IT skills.
• Willing to work overtime regularly to satisfy contracts.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in assigned buildings.
• Update legal compliance documentation via tablet to a high standard.
• Provide job/quote updates to CAFM system for clients.
• Manage time, workload and communicate with lead engineer regularly.
