Job summary

LiveWest is seeking a Building Labourer to support mobile maintenance across the Plymouth patch, carrying out repairs, cleaning and general upkeep to ensure homes meet high standards for customers.

The role is full-time (40 hours) with travel to properties as needed; a driving licence and health & safety awareness are essential. You will work flexibly to deliver safe, quality housing services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role, preferably in maintainance or housing environments.
• Proficient in health and safety practices and reporting.
• Excellent communication and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and repairs at properties.
• Assist with cleaning, waste disposal, and general upkeep.
• Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions with supervisors.
• Move materials and ensure tools and equipment are ready for tasks.
• Operate electronic job orders, timesheets and progress tracking.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and promote customer care.
