Job summary

Artic Building Services is seeking a skilled Mobile Boiler Engineer to deliver PPM, reactive maintenance, fault finding, and installation across client sites in London and the South East. The role requires 5+ years’ experience, Gas Safe qualifications, and a valid UK driving licence.

You will work on commercial/industrial boiler systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. You will join a professional team, with responsibilities including on-site reports, stock

Qualifications

• Full current Commercial Gas Safe accreditations including: COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1A or TPCP1, CORT1 (desirable)
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heating & Ventilation or Gas Engineering
• Proven 5+ years as Mobile Boiler Engineer on commercial/industrial boiler systems
• UK Driving Licence (clean preferred)
• Read and interpret technical drawings/schematics
• Basic electrical qualifications (18th Edition)

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial/industrial boiler plant and heating systems
• Respond to reactive breakdowns, diagnose faults, and perform repairs to minimise downtime
• Fault-find on electrical, mechanical, and gas/oil components of boiler systems
• Carry out boiler installations, commissioning, and de-commissioning
• Conduct combustion analysis to ensure efficiency and compliance
• Carry out gas safety inspections and maintain certifications
• Report work completed with parts used and recommendations
• Liaise with clients and manage stock for vehicles and equipment
• Participate in out-of-hours on-call rota and adhere to safety policies
