Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join our mobile team covering the Central Belt of England. You will work across diverse customer sites, delivering service excellence and ensuring building management systems operate at peak performance.

In this field-based role, you will diagnose faults, configure controllers, and support upgrades while building strong relationships with customers and promoting OpenBlue cloud-connected technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in BMS, Building Controls or Automation.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a customer-facing service environment is essential.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS and control systems.
• Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Configure and commission controllers and network devices.
• Modify software and maintain system documentation.
• Produce service reports and recommendations.
• Build strong customer relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Support upgrade and lifecycle projects.
• Promote OpenBlue and cloud-connected building technologies.
• Maintain health, safety and compliance at all times.
