Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a BMS Service Engineer for a mobile role across the Central Belt of England. You will service and optimise building management systems, supporting critical controls while advancing your career with a global leader in smart building technology.

You will work independently and with a team, diagnosing faults, configuring controllers, and contributing to upgrades. A UK driving licence and strong customer-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in BMS, Building Controls or Automation.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a customer-facing service environment.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to work out-of-hours rota.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS and control systems.
• Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues.
• Configuring and commissioning controllers and network devices.
• Modifying software and maintaining system documentation.
• Producing service reports and recommendations.
• Building strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Supporting upgrade and lifecycle projects.
• Promoting OpenBlue and cloud-connected building technologies.
• Maintaining health, safety and compliance.
