Join to apply for the Mobile BMS Engineer role at Equans UK & Ireland

Equans is seeking a Mobile BMS Engineer to join our Digital team, covering parts of Telford and surrounding areas on a full-time basis.

We deliver critical Building Management System (BMS) Infrastructure upgrades across various sectors, including commercial, retail, healthcare, education, and government. Our goal is to enable sites to become ‘Smart Enabled’ and leverage IoT solutions for added value, benefiting communities and environments.

The role involves working on contracted customer sites such as PFI Schools, Hospitals, Government Estates, and MOD sites. Responsibilities include:

1. Installing, configuring, and maintaining BMS components and systems.
2. Performing maintenance checks on Trend, Tridium, and Distech BMS systems.
3. Participating in reactive call-outs (with additional compensation).
4. Providing technical support and advice to clients.
5. Identifying opportunities for system improvements.
6. Preparing proposals and quotations for works.

Qualifications and skills required include:

• Electrical qualifications (City & Guild, BTEC, NVQ).
• Experience with BMS/HVAC systems and brands like Trend, Tridium, Distech, Siemens.
• Knowledge of electrical industry standards and schematics.
• IT network understanding and AutoCAD skills.
• Full UK driving license.
• Controls training/experience and fault-finding skills.
• Vetting checks (DBS, BPSS).
• Excellent communication skills.
