Job summary

Prize Placements are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join our Sutton/Croydon-based team. This mobile role covers planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns across commercial sites, with a company van provided and travel expenses covered.

Applicants should hold F-Gas Cat 1, have strong diagnostic skills, and be able to work independently while managing multiple site visits. Full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• F-Gas Category 1 qualification - essential.
• Previous experience working as an Air Conditioning and/or Refrigeration Engineer.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience carrying out both planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Attend reactive call-outs and breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Service, maintain and repair a variety of AC and refrigeration systems.
• Identify additional remedial works and report recommendations back to the office.
• Complete electronic job sheets and service documentation accurately and promptly following each visit.
