Job summary

Effective Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to service, maintain, fault-find and install a range of commercial HVAC systems. The role covers Manchester and the North West, with travel to customer sites across the UK from home.

You will hold F-Gas Cat 1, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, and have strong installation and fault-finding skills on split, VRV/VRF and water chiller systems. A mobile engineer with a proactive approach is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience as a commercial HVAC technician across service, maintenance, repair and installation.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification is required.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Experience with VRV/VRF and water chillers is preferred.
• Ability to travel and work as a mobile engineer.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service and breakdown calls.
• Test and service commercial air conditioning equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs.
• Work on split and multi-split systems.
• Service and repair VRV/VRF systems.
• Work with water chillers.
• Carry out installations when required.
• Provide customers with technical advice and support.
• Report to Technical Service Manager and travel to sites as needed.
