We are seeking an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to perform maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment. Responsibilities include service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, heat pumps, and specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets, multideck units, or ice machines.
You will have the opportunity to work with various manufacturer plants, including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba, and LG. Familiarity with installation designs, manufacturer troubleshooting procedures, and the ability to seek technical support independently are desirable. Accurate and timely completion of documentation, logs, inspection reports, and remedial work is expected.
Candidates must hold a full current driving license and be willing to participate in an on-call rota. Manual tasks such as handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces should be manageable. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is proficiency with handheld devices (PDA). The role requires self-motivation, solution-focused thinking, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment, with relevant qualifications such as FGAS & ODS regulations, a time-served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ, or equivalent. Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of work is also required. Training, development, progression, and internal promotion opportunities are available.
