Job summary

Wayve is seeking a Release Manager — AI Models in London to own the model release lifecycle, ensure timely, reliable production deployments, and drive release engineering improvements across ML, evaluation, data science, software platform, and product teams.

You will build frameworks connecting model development, evaluation, Wayve onboard stack, and product needs, applying robust release practices in a fast-paced ML environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in release management, software engineering, or related field.
• Understanding of SDLC and release practices, including testing, integration, branching and versioning.
• Knowledge of ML fundamentals: training vs inference, model versions and probabilistic validation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like GitHub and Buildkite.

Responsibilities

• Own the model release cycle with steady cadence and shifting priorities.
• Coordinate across ML engineering, evaluation, data science, software platform, testing, and product.
• Run gates from hypothesis training to deployment to ship-ready state.
• Investigate regressions and integration issues; coordinate rollback/roll-forward.
• Be the central contact for status, risks, and timelines for engineers and leadership.
• Lead post-release reviews and turn lessons into improvements.
