Alignerr is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer (AI Training) for a fully remote hourly contract. You will train AI models by documenting expert-level reasoning, recording step-by-step decision processes, and producing high-quality training data.

You should have a strong ML or software engineering background, the ability to articulate complex reasoning, and a PhD or master's. Work independently on open-ended tasks with flexible schedule, 10–40 hours/week, potential for ongoing projects.

• Audit and refine AI-generated reasoning steps for logical soundness and technical accuracy.
• Demonstrate proficient tool selection and use across realistic problem scenarios.
• Work independently and asynchronously — entirely on your own schedule.
