Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Data Scientist (Masters) to act as an AI Data Trainer for remote, hourly contract work. You will design challenges, author solutions, and audit AI-generated code to expose model weaknesses while advancing AI reasoning.

The role requires graduate-level data science expertise and precision, with 10-40 hours per week. You’ll work independently on schedule, contributing to frontier model development and building a portfolio of high-impact training tasks.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field is required or in progress.
• Strong foundation across data science domains including ML, DL, and NLP.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts in writing with precision.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced data science challenges covering ML methods and evaluation strategies.
• Write rigorous, ground-truth solutions with code and mathematical derivations.
• Audit AI-generated code for correctness and efficiency using standard libraries.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI model reasoning and data handling.
• Work independently on task-based assignments on your own schedule.
