Alignerr is seeking a Data Scientist with a Masters or PhD to design advanced data science challenges and audit AI model reasoning. You will craft problems, write reference solutions in Python/SQL, and rigorously evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and efficiency.

The role is a fully remote hourly contract requiring 10–40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling and ongoing project work for selected candidates.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, CS, or a quantitative field with data analysis focus.
• Strong background in supervised/unsupervised learning and deep learning concepts.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex results in written form.

Responsabilités

• Design advanced data science challenges covering optimization, inference, and cross‑validation.
• Author step‑by‑step ground‑truth solutions including code and mathematical derivations.
• Audit AI outputs using Scikit‑Learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow for accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify data leakage, overfitting, and imbalanced data issues and provide feedback.
• Document edge cases and reasoning failures to strengthen model performance.
