Newcastle University invites applications for an Evaluation and Impact Fellow. The role focuses on evaluating capacity development and the MDC’s impact on PPIE, co-production, and policy engagement, with a strong emphasis on mixed-methods approaches.

The postholder will co-design evaluation frameworks, lead programme-wide evaluation efforts, and contribute to research dissemination and horizon-scanning to support strategic decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Substantial experience of mixed-methods, theory-driven and/or implementation-focused evaluation.
• Track record of integrating quantitative and qualitative evidence from multiple sources.
• Experience of realist evaluation, programme evaluation, impact evaluation.
• PhD in public health, health services research, evaluation science or related field.
• Strong publication record in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.

Aufgaben

• Plan, design and deliver research and evaluation activities and programmes under guidance.
• Lead on development of the MDC evaluation framework and indicators.
• Draft high-quality reports and peer-reviewed publications.
• Engage with MDC partners, public contributors and stakeholders to ensure impact.
• Contribute to MDC Innovation strategy and industry engagement.
