Job summary

WLG is seeking a Mission Systems Engineer to join a real-time intelligence platform used by defence and NATO-aligned organisations across Europe. You will own end-to-end Palantir Foundry implementations, from whiteboard sketches to production deployments in on-premise or secure facilities.

You will design data pipelines, ontology models and operator-facing applications, bringing live intelligence into workflows and common operating pictures. Travel to customer sites in Europe is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Palantir Foundry work: pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, Code Repositories and Workbooks; application development.
• Three years or more of professional software or forward-deployed / solutions engineering, shipping systems into production.
• Strong ability to quickly understand platform architecture and its impact on operators.
• Experience with containers and orchestration, plus solid Linux/networking fundamentals.
• Willingness to travel and to work on site in secure customer facilities.

Responsibilities

• Sitting with defence and security users to understand situational awareness needs and scope solutions.
• Designing, building and deploying on Palantir Foundry — data pipelines, ontology models and operator-facing apps.
• Bringing live intelligence into workflows and common operating pictures for diverse missions.
• Building and tuning custom widgets to meet user needs.
• Owning end-to-end solutions with minimal supervision and sound technical judgment.
• Debugging across the stack—infrastructure, networking and applications in restricted environments.
• Being the technical adviser trusted by customer engineers and operators.
• Travelling to customer sites and operations centres in Europe 25%–75% of the time.
