Job summary

MBDA is seeking a Missile Test and Testability Architect to lead the definition of test equipment requirements and develop the test strategy across programmes. You will contribute to improving specifications and drive testability improvements from feasibility through series production and in-service support.

You will analyse production test data, model systems, and generate diagnostic instructions while mentoring team members and contributing to roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level with significant experience of electronic test across project lifecycle.
• Experience in electronic circuit design, testing and failure analysis techniques.
• Experience in test equipment design.
• Experience in requirements capture.
• Project management and planning.
• Provide technical leadership to all Test related issues with test equipment requirements capture and specification.
• Experience in DfT and testability.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders within the business on technical direction.
• Support departmental strategy and recruitment of the right people into the team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in range of missile programmes, improving the definition of test equipment requirements.
• Define the project test strategy and Project BIT architecture and improve specifications across projects.
• Lead analysis of production test data to spot trends and diagnose failures.
• Model and analyse systems to understand test coverage and generate diagnostic instructions.
• Lead/participate in roadmap development and best-practice deployment.
