Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking a Missile Test and Testability Expert to lead the Test & Testability architecture across the missile development lifecycle. You will define project test strategies, oversee BIT architecture, and drive improvements by analysing test data, diagnosing failures and supporting bid activities.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level with significant experience in electronic test across lifecycle.
• Experience in electronic circuit design, testing and failure analysis.
• Knowledge of test equipment design and requirements capture.
• Strong project management and planning capabilities.
• Ability to lead technical directions and influence stakeholders.
• Familiarity with DfT/testability practices.
• Willingness to travel UK/EU.

Responsibilities

• Lead test strategy, architecture, and coverage for missile test projects across lifecycle.
• Analyze production test data to spot trends and diagnose failures.
• Develop and refine diagnostic instructions and BIT architecture.
• Lead/participate in roadmap development and best-practice deployment.
• Support bid activities and cross-project testability improvements.
• Mentor and develop members of the Test & Testability department.
