Buckinghamshire Council is seeking an MIS Support Officer to provide specialist support and training in Management Information Software for schools. As an MIS Support Officer, you will be an integral part of our ICT Schools Team, providing specialist support and training to school business managers, senior leaders, teachers, and administration staff. Your expertise will cover a range of software modules, including Arbor, SIMS, and Bromcom, including Core Modules, Personnel, Attendance, Reporting, Assessment, and Behaviour modules.

As an MIS Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance and support to school users and ensuring best practices and statutory requirements from the Department for Education are met. Your key responsibilities will include:
We are seeking a proactive individual with a background in Schools MIS. You should have problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A demonstrable understanding of a school's business environment and the roles that Management Information Software play is essential.
Ideally, you will have broad knowledge gained from experience working in a school setting or a support unit environment, conferring a level of authority in this area.
