FAFS Fire & Security specialises in designing, installing, commissioning and servicing automatic Fire Detection, Protection and Alarm Systems around Greater London. We are looking to appoint a new Minor Works Engineer to lead a small team and coordinate service delivery for minor works projects.

You will manage quotations, scheduling, procurement, and invoicing, while maintaining high safety and quality standards and delivering exceptional customer service to contracted customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of staff in a service/engineering environment.
• Ability to plan, implement and complete activities without assistance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience invoicing and handling quotations.
• Familiarity with BN EN ISO 9001:2000 is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Manage the FAFS Minor Works Dept and staff to high standards.
• Coordinate with regional managers, desk service managers, desk operators and salespersons.
• Oversee quotations, order processing, procurement, scheduling, certification and invoicing of minor works.
• Provide reports incl. backlog and input for monthly board report.
• Ensure timely onboarding and processing of new orders and health & safety info.
• Allocate engineers and ensure a proficient labour force.
• Communicate with customers to ensure understanding of proposed works and dates.
