Job summary

FAFS Fire & Security specialises in designing, installing, commissioning, and servicing automatic Fire Detection, Protection and Alarm Systems in and around Greater London. We are currently looking for a new Minor Works Engineer, covering the London region.

You will work with the Minor Works / DRS Team on remedials, repairs, investigations, small installations and service support, from inception through to completion, delivering world-class customer service and exceeding expectations.

Qualifications

• Good all-round knowledge of Fire and Security Systems.
• Experience in a similar role in Fire & Security Installation (min 2 years).
• Technical background in electrical/electronic industry.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Minor Works and Service Desk on troublesome sites, including critical issues.
• Work closely with subcontract labour and onsite clients.
• Maintain Fire & Security Systems in your region when demand requires.
• Plan and respond to routine and reactive call visits in your area.
• Attend training sessions and team meetings as required.
