Job summary

WSP is seeking a Hydrologist or Water Resource Engineer to join our UK & Ireland Mine Water team, ideally in London but Reading, Birmingham or Leeds are also considered. This full-time role focuses on mining-related water resources, environmental assessments and water management design across projects.

You will conduct climate, hydrological and hydraulic analyses, develop water balance plans and support business development, while travelling to sites and collaborating with colleagues across

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher in relevant field with hydrology and hydraulics modules.
• Strong technical abilities and report writing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mining-related water resources work, including assessments and water management design.
• Perform climate, hydrological and hydraulic analyses and develop water balance plans.
• Prepare technical documents for senior review and support business development.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and travel for siteWork as needed.
• Promote safety and environmental considerations in project delivery.
