Job summary

Weir Group is seeking a Product Specialist for Mining Attachments to deliver technical guidance and support across Surface and Underground GET products. You will own product specifications, assist with tender submissions, and collaborate with global teams on launches and field trials.

The role requires 5+ years in mining equipment, a degree in engineering, and strong communication skills to train and engage stakeholders. Hybrid work arrangement with travel to mining sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years' experience in mining equipment operation or modelling with strong GET knowledge.
• Proven ability to deliver technical training and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and frontline personnel.
• Proficiency with MS Office, CRM systems (ideally Salesforce), PLM systems (ideally Agile), Power BI, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical resource for the effective and profitable application of Surface and Underground Mining Attachments products, including Ground Engaging Tools (GET).
• Provide daily technical guidance, application engineering, equipment sizing, and product selection to meet customer requirements.
• Travel approximately one-third of the time to mining sites, including Western Australia and other regions, for site visits and customer engagement.
• Own and maintain product specifications, technical documentation, and sales support materials.
• Develop equipment sizing calculations, costing models, and technical specifications; participate in bid processes.
