Job summary

Wood Mackenzie in London is seeking a Product Sales Specialist to join the Metals & Mining team. You will work with the wider sales group to achieve commercial targets, while sharing knowledge across the business.

This is an opportunity to grow your brand within the organization and influence how data-driven insights translate into client value. You will also collaborate with Product, Research and Marketing to shape roadmaps, support new business opportunities, and develop a robust territory

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of the metals & mining industry.
• Significant experience in client-facing, consultative, pre-sales, or technical/solution roles.
• Experience engaging with mining companies, banks, or investment funds and understanding workflows.
• Extensive commercial track record in supporting client development and acting as a trusted SME.
• Self-motivated, energetic, solution-oriented and results-oriented.
• Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams to achieve commercial success.
• Good judgment in resource utilization and optimisation.
• Passion for growing the business and developing yourself.
• Intellectual curiosity about how data and analysis solve business issues.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Additional language relevant to the EMEA region is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of the value of metals & mining solutions for customers.
• Act as an internal ambassador for metals & mining; communicate product enhancements and market developments.
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities within existing accounts.
• Support new business opportunities across the sales cycle and demonstrate the breadth of Wood Mackenzie’s metals & mining solutions.
• Develop, maintain and own a territory sales plan with growth markets and risks.
• Collaborate with Vertical Sales, Product, Research, and Consulting to execute plans.
• Work with Product and Research to shape the product development roadmap and launches.
