Job summary

The Boulevard Primary Partnership in Milton Keynes is seeking a Minibus Driver/Caretaker to support three federation schools, transporting pupils for breakfast and after-school clubs and day trips.

The role also covers caretaking duties across the federation, site security and cleaning, plus occasional meals delivery. A D1 license and minibus experience are essential, with flexible, independent work and a team attitude expected.

Qualifications

• A valid D1 driving licence (essential).
• Experience of driving a minibus (preferably with children/young people).
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
• Basic DIY/maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting pupils between federation schools (breakfast club, after-school clubs, day trips).
• Carrying out caretaking duties across the federation, including site security and cleanliness.
• Delivery of school meals at lunchtime.

The Boulevard Primary Partnership is afederation of three schools located in Downs Barn and Conniburrow, MiltonKeynes - Southwood School, Downs Barn School and Germander Park School. The three schools share one governing boardand one Executive Head. The schools include 2 nurseries and 2 Specialist Basesfor children with Autism. We're lookingfor a Minibus Driver/Caretaker to join our supportive team.

In this varied role, you'll be responsible for safelytransporting pupils between our three federation schools (for breakfast club, afterschool clubs and occasional ad-hoc journeys), as well as undertaking caretakingduties across the federation. The role also involves the delivery of schoolmeals at lunchtime. The caretaking element of this role includes basic sitemaintenance, ensuring site security and cleanliness.

What we'relooking for:

• A valid D1 (or equivalent) driving licence(essential)


• Experience of driving a minibus (preferablywith children/young people)


• Good interpersonal skills and the ability towork independently


• Basic DIY/maintenance skills


• Flexibility for occasional extra hours oremergency cover


• Opportunity for additional hours on a regularbasis for after school fixtures or day time school trips

The role isfor 33.75 hours per week, 8.15 to 4pm Monday to Friday, term time only. Theright candidate should be be reliable, flexible, enthusiastic, highly motivatedand have the ability to use their initiative when working alone but also to behappy working as part of a team.
