Job summary

Rugby School is seeking a Minibus Driver to transport day students between local locations. The role requires a full UK D1 driving licence and 2+ years of D1 experience, with MiDAS training preferred. You will need to build strong relationships with pupils and navigate local roads efficiently.

Term-time, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with DBS checks and safeguarding adherence as part of the process. Salary is £13.26 per hour, with a strong benefits package offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are looking to appoint a minibus driver to transport day students to Old Buckenham School from the local area for 2 hours in the morning, and 2 hours in the evening. Monday to Friday term-time only.

Applicants must hold a full, clean UK D1 driving licence, have at least 2 years' D1 driving experience, ideally already hold a MiDAS certificate but training can be given. They will need to be able to build excellent relationships with young people. The post also calls for a good knowledge of the local area’s roads to enable the post holder to find alternative routes, if needed.
