Job summary

Carebase is seeking a Weekend Mini Bus Driver to ensure the safety and comfort of residents during transport to destinations. You will perform daily safety checks, complete required logs, and liaise with the home manager on issues.

Applicants must hold a full, clean licence and D1 classification for minibus driving, with weekend shifts (6am-9am and 6pm-9pm) and sickness/holiday cover. Training provided and a supportive team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Must have a full, clean drivers' licence and a clean criminal record.
• D1 classification on licence required for minibus driving.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and comfort of residents when transporting them.
• Carry out daily safety and vehicle cleaning checks; report issues to home manager.
• Interact with residents in a friendly, caring manner while upholding dignity.

About The Role

As our Weekend Mini Bus Driver, you will be responsible for the safety and comfort of our residents when driving them to their destinations. You will carry out daily safety and cleaning checks of the vehicle and report any issues to the home manager. You will interact with our residents on a daily basis - so you'll be friendly, caring and kind whilst respecting our resident's dignity at all times.

Here's some other important things you need to know:

• You must have a full, clean drivers' licence and clean criminal record – you will be driving a car and a minibus and so will need to provide documentary evidence of D1 on your licence
• You'll complete all relevant paperwork and fill in log sheets as required on a daily basis.
