Job summary

Blenheim Schools is seeking a Minibus Driver to join Hydesville Tower School, Walsall, delivering safe student transport on a 32-hour per week schedule. The role is permanent and term-time only, with a November 2026 start date.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (min 24 months) with D1 PCV entitlement and Driver CPC.
• Experience driving passenger-carrying vehicles safely and professionally.
• Confident communicator with students, parents and colleagues.

Role Purpose

We're looking for a Minibus Driver to join our team, providing safe and professional transport for our students. This is more than just a driving role. You'll be a friendly face each day, helping students travel to and from school safely while building positive relationships with families and colleagues.

As a Minibus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students safely and efficiently, ensuring every journey is delivered with the highest standards of care, professionalism and customer service.

You’ll play a vital role in supporting students' attendance, wellbeing and access to education, while representing the school positively within the local community.

What you will be doing

• Safely transport students to and from school and other approved locations.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

• Carry out vehicle checks and promptly report any defects, hazards or concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with driver hours, CPC and transport regulations.

What you will bring
