Job summary

Blenheim Schools is seeking a Minibus Driver for Hydesville Tower School in Walsall to provide safe, reliable transport for students. This is a permanent term-time role, 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, starting November 2026.

You will be a friendly, professional presence on the journey, maintaining high safety standards and building positive relationships with students and families. A UK driving licence with D1 PCV and Driver CPC is essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence with at least 24 months' experience.
• D1 PCV entitlement and valid Driver CPC.
• Experience driving passenger‑carrying vehicles safely and professionally.
• Confident communicator with students, parents and colleagues.
• Flexible, reliable and able to adapt to changing situations.
• Committed to safeguarding, wellbeing and supporting young people.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and other approved locations.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Ensure passenger safety and compliance with transport regulations.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects, hazards or concerns.
• Maintain records and comply with driver hours, CPC and transport regulations.
• Support the school's safeguarding culture by reporting any concerns appropriately.
