Job summary

Sytner Group in Leicester is seeking a passionate Sales Controller to drive profitability, oversee stock purchases and prepare vehicles at Sytner MINI Leicester. You will report to the Brand Manager and help shape sales plans while delivering outstanding customer service.

This full‑time role may include weekend work. You will lead the sales team, implement efficient processes, challenge the status quo and contribute to a high‑performing dealership that values development and inclusion.

Qualifications

• This role requires broad knowledge of the motor trade and a proven sales or sales-management track record.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to drive performance with initiative and cost-efficient decision making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee profitability, stock purchases and vehicle preparation at the dealership.
• Develop and implement effective sales plans to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement across the sales team.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and represent Sytner's standards.

About The Role

Sytner Group is looking for a passionate and driven Sales Controller to join our motivated sales team at Sytner MINI Leicester.

As a Sytner Sales Controller, you will report to the Brand Manager and will be responsible for the profitability, stock purchases and preparation of vehicles within the Dealership. You will implement effective sales plans and ensure that you deliver outstanding customer service.

This is a full-time role which can typically include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

About You

This role would suit an individual with a broad knowledge of the motor trade and somebody with an outstanding track record in either sales or sales management within the motor industry. Well-developed leadership and communication skills are also required.

You will need exceptionally high standards, great initiative and the ability to work in a logical and cost-effective manner. You will be able to bring new and innovative ideas into the department and will continue to drive performance, whilst challenging the status quo.
