Job summary

Eco Wings & Nights LTD in Leigh on Sea seeks a reliable minibus driver to transport young adults with additional needs. You will cover routes within Westcliff, Southend, Benfleet and Canvey Island, plus local area trips on a rota. Evening club transport 1 in 4–5 weeks and some weekend overtime may be required.

Good English communication and a flexible attitude are essential. Training provided (MIDAS); DBS and references required; sponsorship not offered for non-UK residents.

Qualifications

• Must have D1 entitlement on driving license.
• No more than 3 points for insurance reasons.
• Experience driving a minibus/large vehicle with additional needs or challenging behaviours is advantageous.
• All training provided including MIDAS.
• 30hrs per week plus evenings on a rota basis; weekend overtime optional.

Responsibilities

• Transport young adults with additional needs to our premises from Westcliff, Southend, Benfleet & Canvey Island and back.
• Carry out local area trips during the day on a rota basis.
• Cover transport for two evening clubs approximately every 4–5 weeks.
• Occasional weekend overtime to take young adults on trips.
• Ensure safeguarding and a safe, compassionate transport environment.

Job description

Mini bus driver required for transporting young adults with additional needs / challenging behaviours to our premises from within Westcliff, Southend, Benfleet & Canvey Island and back, also on trips out into the local area during the day on a rota basis. Will be covering transport for our 2 evening clubs approx. 1 in every 4/5weeks. Occasional voluntary weekend overtime to take young adults on trips.

Must have D1 entitlement on driving license and have no more than 3 points for insurance reasons.

Experience of driving a minibus or large vehicle and working with additional needs and or challenging behaviours would be advantageous.

All training provided including MIDAS.

30hrs per week plus evenings on a rota basis. Occasional weekend overtime available.
