Job summary

Eco Wings & Nights LTD is recruiting a Passenger Assistant to support young adults with additional needs on our mini buses serving Westcliff, Southend and Benfleet. The role involves escorting passengers, securing wheelchairs, and monitoring wellbeing during journeys.

Training is provided. The position is part-time with morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday. An enhanced DBS and two references are required. Sponsorship is not offered for non-UK residents.

Job description

We have an opportunity for a Passenger Assistant to escort Young Adults with additional needs/ challenging behaviours whilst on our mini buses to our centres in Westcliff, Southend & Benfleet.

You will be responsible for securing young adults on the bus including clamping wheelchairs, ensuring the health and wellbeing and managing the behaviour of the young adults during the journeys.

You will ideally have experience of working with people with addition needs/ challenging behaviours. You must be friendly and flexible. IT skills are desirable.

Training will be provided.

This is a part time position Monday to Friday. Mornings and Afternoons.

Employment subject to Enhanced DBS check and 2 references.
