Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Millwright Technician to support an industrial facility with installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a demanding Randburg environment.

You will diagnose issues, read blueprints, and perform fabrication tasks, with emphasis on safety and reliability. A recognized trade certificate and at least six years of hands-on experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years' hands-on experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• Qualified Millwright with a recognized trade certificate.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, dismantle, and repair industrial machinery and equipment per specifications.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults with appropriate tools.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble parts for repairs and installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
• Adhere to safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
